He is considered to have founded the French violin school.The son of a skilled Jean-Marie Leclair, a French violinist and composer, is considered the founder of the French violin school. He was born as the eldest of eight children to Antoine Leclair, a weaver and cellist, and from a young age, he also learned sewing, violin playing, and dance.
